The current pandemic, known as Coronavirus Disease(COVID-19), has dramatically changed people's day-to-day living everywhere. This change is because of the adverse effects that the disease can and is causing—for instance, the deaths of thousands of people. The illness is caused by a group of viruses that are recognized to cause diseases ranging from a common cold to severe respiratory infections. To control the disease, quarantining is important, observing high levels of hygiene and staying informed on its day-to-day developments.

The effects of covid 19 are visible through my life, family, community, country, and even the world. Distant learning has never been my cup of tea. However, the presence of covid-19 has forced me to go with the flow of things. I have to rely on online platforms to study. This reliance isn't easy in understanding the lessons as compared to being in a classroom. Also, I may lack the zeal and time to study due to the several chores I have to perform around our home.

Despite the adverse effects brought along with covid 19, there is a silver lining to it. My family has had a great chance to spend time together. We get to engage in several physical activities around the house. These exercises have gone a long way in boosting our health. Funny enough, we have more time for sleep! There is no travel to school or work since covid 19 has compelled remote experiences.

Additionally, the community, country, and world keep experiencing the positive and negative impacts of covid 19. Several people are alert to their hygiene, from shaking hands to using elbows for greeting, covering mouths when around people, and washing and sanitizing and before touching anything. Remote working is now mainstream as offices are locked down to reduce the spread of the disease.
