You are tasked to plan activities in an organised manner that include familiar objects that
allow children to build on previous experience as well as new elements that present a
challenge to extend learning. Explain how you would carry out this task.
I will explain the activity plan usng a case study for a math class:
It's important to recognise a child's strengths and weaknesses in order to know what resources and techniques to use to help them improve their learning skills. For example, in a math class, the pupils struggles to comprehend numerical concepts due to his short-term memory. They are, however, very creative children who loves participating in on-the-job events. As a result, it's important that we personalize our teaching methods.Such teaching strategies include Making the lesson hands-on, using pictures and visuals, estimations, using stories to integrate numerical principles, and having the children illustrate the concepts in their own words
The starategies can apply to any subject, the educator only need to find the right material for their class. When putting the above teaching techniques into effect, remember to keep the suggestions focused on the task rather than the children by ensuring that they understand what they did well and how they might change next time.
