Explain forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us in your own words then relate it in your personal experience. Make it in 200 words.

At first, when Jesus showed his disciples how to pray, he encompassed the phrase, "forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us." in some prayers, people interpret this to mean forgiveness of sins while others forgiveness of debts. What the payer means is that we acknowledge that we have sinned and done wrong. It is a confession and admission that justifies the verse 1st John 1:9 that says, if we confess our sins, God will be faithful and just and purify us from all unrighteous acts. When we use the phrase, we tell God that we are quick at forgiving the worst sins of our neighbors, and we also need to be forgiven. When we say, "forgive us as we forgive those," it means that we acknowledge the fact that Jesus taught that for God to forgive us, we also need to forgive others.

Personal Experience

I am a person who has had difficulties in forgiving some sins I felt were too great among those who wronged me. Therefore, I have taken the initiative to make the phrase a daily prayer in my life, not to forget to forgive others. I am working towards forgiving others willingly because I want God to treat me the same way. I want to forgive repeatedly, thoroughly, and quickly. I also need God’s forgiveness in all manners since the human heart is prone to sin.
