Do you consider the Philippine Government as truly democratic? Why do you
say so?
The Philippines is classified as a fully democratic state because the country's sovereignty rests on its citizens where all government authority proceeds. Additionally, the country's constitution allows for a multiparty system which implies that voters are allowed to chose their preferred leaders including the president. Finally, the Philippine government operates under three branches, legislative, judicial, and executive, which work interdependently. The separation of powers ensures that the elected officials solely represent the interests of the voters and that none of the leaders misuse their authority.
