Which is more beneficial for you in creating your self-concept? The individualistic
self or collectivistic self? Write your answer in a maximum of three (3) paragraphs
Individualism stresses individual freedom and success. Nonconformist philosophy and the idea of creating self-concept values, as a result, grant social status to individual achievements such as significant innovations, discoveries, or valuable creative attainments.
But, individualism can make shared action more challenging since individuals follow their interests without assuming collective concerns.
The model also harvests a fascinating association between culture and organizations. Under corrupt organizations, a greedy government can take hold of the financial yields from the invention. However, individuals cannot usurp social status and reputation. Thus, even in communities where organizations are moderately greedy, there will be more novelty in a nonconformist ethos due to the social status incentive to modernization and individual achievements.
