According to spiritual teachings, the passion is an excellent example of suffering, which is a pervasive themes of the Christian religion. Because God loved us most, he sent his only begotten son, Jesus Christ to die for us at the cross. The passion of Jesus Christ graphically shows Jesus's cruel torture and crucifixion.
