When comparing our standards of living to those of our parents or grandparents when they were our age, it is clear that there is a huge gap. The differences between the standards of living in the two eras include modes of transport where in our generation vehicles airplanes, trains are more common than before. Ideally, food and clothing in our generation are more diverse, where there are more types of cuisines and clothing styles. Also, the use of electronic devices such as mobile phones, computers, and ACs is more rampant in our generation than our parent's time. Another key difference is the availability of infrastructure, such as electricity. These changes are attributed to the technological advancement which was accompanied by globalization around the globe.
