In my opinion, Fray Junipero was a spiritual man, because in his childhood he had interest of visiting church, and later joined the priesthood at the age of fifteen years. His purpose was to preach the gospel therefore, he created eight missions in California over the period of thirteen years. Gonzalez, (2019). Additionally, Serra dedicated his lots of time teaching the word of God.
