A professional learning community (PLC) refers to a team of teachers who exchange ideas to improve their instructional practice while establishing a learning setting where all students can attain their maximum potential. A PLC at school will benefit teachers in the following manner:
- Engaging teachers across all levels in a more consistent, collective and context-geared learning.
- Addressing disproportions in teaching by supporting instructors who train learners that need enhanced assistance.
- Building fruitful relations that are necessary to partner, collaborate, reflect and act on novel ideas aimed at improving school programs.
