How did the poet create rhyme in the poem "Sudden Yellow Sign"

The poet has created an irregular rhyming scheme hence has no fixed pattern of words. That's a,b,c,d,e,f,g,h and so on.Drawing examples from the poem we have grass and excess whereby grass is in line 14 and excess in line 18, excusing line 17 and singing line 19 also there's windsock in line 10 and Woodstock in line 19.
