What would you prefer Trade Liberalization or Trade Protectionism? Why?
Foreign economic liberalization is the expansion of the unhindered international movement of goods and services, capital, information. Liberalization of world trade in goods and services is manifested in a tendency towards the erosion of customs barriers, removal of quantitative restrictions on trade between countries.
Protectionism is a government policy aimed at supporting domestic producers by restricting imports.
Personally, I would choose liberalization, since it is an indirect incentive for competition, which leads to an improvement in the quality of goods and a reduction in prices, which occurs due to the introduction of new technologies and scientific and technological progress.
