the statement is false because an increase in the production of beef will relatively lead to an increase in the production of leather.... when demand for beef is high, more cattle are reared and slaughtered and the raw materials used in leather industry is derived from the waste products of food industry , specifically from meat processing , which are later converted into desirable useful leather products
