In south Africa the problem of racial segregation has been a major problem in the provision of quality education. Most of the people who benefit from quality education are the privileged minority white communities who go to proper schools well equipped with upto date educational facilities and competent teachers.The majority of the black communities have little access to quality education as schools in these communities have poor infrastructure ,crowded facilities and few teachers.The only people with access to quality education are the privileged white communities and the few members of the black communities that are wealthy.

There has been high level of unemployment in South Africa due to many reasons which include the fact that there are more workers seeking for employment than the available number of job opportunities the economy can absorb leading to labour demand-suplly mismatch.

Another reason for high unemployment rate in south Africa is the lack of interest in entrepreneurship. The majority of the job seekers are mostly looking for employment instead of being creative and creating their job opportunities by investing in business opportunities.

Low levels of technology in South Africa is attributed to the fact that there are few or lack thereof of universities well equipped to produce students who are innovative and creative in the field of science and technology.The country also lacks modern laboratories and scientific equipments to incubate technological projects and there is also the problem of inadequate finance to fund scientific projects.
