Microeconomics is a branch of economics that studies the behaviour of individual consumers, households and firms, and how they make choices regarding the allocation and utilization of resources. Macroeconomics is a branch of economics that studies the behaviour and performance of an economy as a whole. It is trying to understand the economy events such as unemployment, growth rate, gross domestic product and inflation.
