a.). Student-team achievement divisions (STAD) implemented by forming students into groups of four or five members representing the students with the skills and different genders. A lesson is provided by the teacher and the students work in each group to ensure that all group members have mastered the lessons provided. Thereby, the students perform the tests on the materials given working on their own without getting help from other students.

b.). The Group investigation (GI) method focuses on student’s participation and activity. It involves student’s integration, interaction, and communication in the classroom with the academic inquiry process. The students are trained to work together with their friends with the aim of achieving the objective or the success desired of them. It is implemented in six steps, which are; identifying the topic and organizing students into groups, planning the learning assignment, undertaking the investigation, developing the final report, presenting the final report and assessment.

c.). The jigsaw method is a technique that enables each home group to specialize in one specific aspect of a particular topic. For example, one group can study habitats of Amazon rain forest, while another group studies wild animals in Amazon rain forest. Students then meet with other group members who are assigned the same features and after learning and dominating the material, they return to the homegroup and tutor the material to their group members. Each student under this method acts as a piece of the topic’s puzzle and when they work together as a unit, they generate the complete jigsaw puzzle.
