M (CuSO4) = 159.5 g/mol
At. wt. of Cu = 63.5
1g Cu in relation to FW of salt = 159.5 / 63.5 = 2.51 g
Hence, weigh out 2.51 g CuSO4 and dissolve in 1 liter volume to make a 1000 ppm Cu standard.
Therefore, for preparation a solution with 50 ppm of Cu we will need 0.13 g of CuSO4.
