According to the ideal gas theory, a certain gas volume contains a number of small particles. Being contained in a closed space, they collide with each other.
As the pressure increases, the volume of that free space becomes smaller. That is why the frequency of those collisions also rises.
Rise of a temperature results in a greater kinetic energy of each particle. Therefore, the frequency of their collisions also increases.
