Would it be possible to increase the kinetic energy of the particles within a reaction by ionising the constituent molecules and using magnetism to assert an acceleration on them. Could you use this as an alternative to heat?

Ionizing the constituent molecules and using magnetism to assert acceleration on them will increase kinetic energy of molecules. This will subsequently lead to greater amount of collisions between the particles. Therefore, finally this will have an effect comparable to heating of a solution. However, the comparison of these two processes must be conducted experimentally.
