Differences between oxygenated gasoline and reformulated gasoline
1) Gasoline that has been formulated in a way that is designed to reduce carbon monoxide from automotive exhausts. Oxygenates are either alcohols or ether compounds, added to gasoline.
2) Reformulated gasoline (RFG) is gasoline blended to burn more cleanly than conventional gasoline and to reduce smog-forming and toxic pollutants in the air we breathe.
