Zeroth law of thermodynamics – If two thermodynamic systems are each in thermal equilibrium with a third, then they are in thermal equilibrium with each other.
The first law of thermodynamics, also known as Law of Conservation of Energy, states that energy can neither be created nor destroyed; energy can only be transferred or changed from one form to another. The total amount of energy in an isolated system is conserved
Second law of thermodynamics – The entropy of an isolated system not in equilibrium will tend to increase over time, approaching a maximum value at equilibrium. Simply: the entropy of an isolated system only increases and never decreases.
The third law of thermodynamics states that the entropy of a system approaches a constant minimum as the temperature approaches absolute zero.
