pressure of 1g ideal gas A at 25 c is 2 bar. When 2g of gas is introduced in same flask, pressure becomes 3 bar.find a relation between their molecular weight
The pH of monobasic weak acid solution is 3.The pHof the same solutio upon dilution of 100 times could be
Hydrogen bromide is farmed by a reaction between hydrogen gas and bromine vapour, according to the following equation
H2(g) + Br2(g) - 2HBr(g) Keq=3.5
calculate the equillibrium concentrations of all gases if .040 moles of H2(g) and 0.60 moles of Br2(g)
are placed in a 4.0L container
I am looking for a cheap chemical that is very highly soluble in water, such that it can raise the density of water to about 5 or 6 kg per liter. The resulting solution, however, cannot be viscous as buoyant forces will need to perform in the solution. I've been doing research and I've found conflicting values for the solubility of certain compounds such as Iron(III) Sulfate. One site gives the solubility as 4.4kg/liter while on another page, states that it is only slightly soluble. I've also considered fructose although viscosity would be a problem at the density I require. Could you please recommend a few non-toxic (skin contact will probably be required) substances that are not expensive in bulk as I will have to saturate a solution of about 100 liters of water.
Thank you kindly.
If I have 5.6 liters of gas in a piston at a pressure of 1.5 atm and compress the gas until its volume is 4.8 L, what is the new pressure inside the piston?
Write a procedure to demonstrate the effect of increasingly higher concentration of hydochloric acid on its rate of reaction with antacid tablets.
I can only use HCl with concentration of 1.0 mol/L to show this procedure.
I was wondering if I use the same amount od H2O in 5 different samples and add different amount of this given HCl (for example 10, 20, 30, 40 mL) is the concentration of HCl inceasing and am I doing the right thing?
