A solution consisting of ethanal and carbon disulfide is characterized by a positive deviation from Raoul's law. This, in turn, means that when the solution is formed, energy is absorbed (the enthalpy change is greater than 0), the sum of the volumes of ethanal and carbon disulfide is less than the final volume of the solution, and the formation of the solution is difficult. Just because when we mix ethanal and carbon disulfide, we get a two-phase system, i.e. the formation of a homogeneous system (solution) is difficult.
