Arrange the atomic cores for the two fluorine atoms in SF2 with the sulfur atom as the main atom.
Rewrite the atomic cores placing an electron pair between each flourine and sulfur core
Write the Lewis structure of SF2 in the box, distributing the remaining valence electrons so that all three atoms are in accordance with the octet rule
construct the lewis structure model for the covalent compound sulphur difluoride

a) Sea water contains roughly 28.0 g of NaCl per liter. (NaCl molar mass = 58.44 gmol-1).

i. Calculate the number of moles of NaCl in a liter of sea water.

ii. Calculate the molarity of NaCl in sea water.

iii. Calculate the mass by volume percent (W/V) of NaCl in sea water.

b) To identify the cations and anions present in an unknown solution, the following tests were carried out.

I. A flame test on the solid substance produces a brick red colour.

II. Nitric acid was added to a solution of the substance followed by a few drops

of barium nitrate solution. A white precipitate was formed.

i. What is the cation present in the substance?

ii. What is the anion present in the substance?

iii. Give the formula of the substance present.

Write the Lewis structure for CH2Cl2 in the box, distributing the remaining valence electrons so that the carbon and chlorine atoms are in accordance with the octet rule and the H atoms in accordance with the duet rule. Lewis structure of CH2Cl2
A solution is prepared by dissolving 19.2 g of glucose in 205 g of water. The final
volume of the solution is 214 ml. Find the concentration of the solution in units of
molality.
A solution of hydrogen peroxide is 13.7% by mass. What is the molarity of the
solution? Assume that the solution has a density of 1.01 g/mL.

Which of the following molecules will not have a dipole moment?

Lewis structure for ionic compound potassium chloride

`          Antacid is a substance used to neutralize stomach acidity and relieve heartburn, indigestion, or stomach upset. Magnesium hydroxide (Mg(OH)2), one of the active ingredients in commercial antacids, reacts with stomach acid (HCl) to produce magnesium chloride (MgCl2) and water. The equation is as follows:

Mg(OH)2 + 2HCl  MgCl2 + 2H2O

Assume that a person takes 0.100 g antacid. How many mol of MgCl2 will be produced from the ingested antacid, assuming all of the antacid undergoes the reaction?

The number of valence electrons in t he carbon atom is
