How much energy (in kilojoules) is needed to heat 4.05g of ice from -11.5∘C to 28.5∘C? The heat of fusion of water is 6.01kJ/mol, and the molar heat capacity is 36.6 J/(K⋅mol) for ice and 75.3 J/(K⋅mol) for liquid water.
if the density of methanol is 0.793 kg/L ,what is its volume needed for making 2.5L of its 0.25M solution?
Which of the following questions would most likely be investigated by a chemist?

Select one:

a. How does the amount of vitamin D intake affect your risk of cancer?

b. What coating would best slow down the reaction between concrete and saltwater?

c. How could we best determine the age of a fossil containing rock layer?

d. How fas must air bags deploy to prevent injury?
The enthalpy of fusion for H2O is 6.0 kJ mol-1. How many grams (to 1 decimal place) of ice can be converted to liquid water at 0°C using 43 kJ of energy?

This is what they said to work out the answer:
First calculate the number of moles of ice that can be converted, by dividing the energy supplied by the enthalpy of fusion. Then convert into grams.

But im still unsure on exactly how to work through it.
How many grams of solid KCl would be obtained if 100mL of a solution with a 0.5M solution of KCl was evaporated to dryness?

I know that the answer is 3.73 grams. But I have no idea on how to work this out.
