If acid is added to suspension for pH control, does the particles reacts with that acid?? Means are the particles affected by adding acid to suspension?

To determine the pH of the suspension the particles should not react. As accurately determine the pH of the suspension will be impossible. Interaction of the acid with particles depends on their type. If the particles are organic, they will not react with acid. If the particles have basic properties, they will react with the acid.

What if I have dissolved 10g of HA in propanol and I want to adjust pH
by adding nitric acid, then will the particles react with acid in this
case?? coz i have a doubt that it might depend on the mass of
particles
