Calculate the diffusion constant of argon (𝜎 = 0.36 𝑛𝑚2 ) at 25°C and (a) 1.00 Pa, (b) 100 kPa, (c) 10.0 MPa. If a pressure gradient of 0.10 atm 𝑐𝑚−1 is established in a pipe, what is the diffusion flux of gas?
Polymerize the stated compound, at least 8 carbon atoms for each polymer:
(a) 2-ethylbutene (CH2=C(C2H5)CH2CH3)
(b) 3,4-dipropyl-3-octene
(c) methyl methacrylate
(d) 5-hydroxypentenyl benzoate
10 ml of boric acid solution was placed inside 250ml conical flask And after adding distilled water and mannitol to the solution it required 15ml of .10 M naoh solution to reach phenolphthalein endpoint the molarity of the boric acid solution is
Consider the unbalanced chemical reaction: KO2 (s) + H2O(ℓ) → KOH (s) + O2 (g) .
If 10.70 g of KO2 and 1.80 g of H2O are reacted together:
a) What is the limiting reagent?
b) What mass of O2 can be produced?
c) Assuming the reaction takes place in a 1L vessel and the temperature is controlled at 25℃, what will the pressure of the vessel be?
c) If 2.22g of O2 is produced, what is the percent yield of the reaction?
When 45 g of calcium oxide reacts with 450mL of water (excess), calcium hydroxide is produced as the only product. Calculate the final temperature of the solution if the initial temperature of the water is 29 deg C.
have 16 oz of solution with 21.4% imidacloprid and 4 oz of a solution with 1.3% nylar............want a 10ml solution with 9.1% imidacloprid and .45% nylar
as q pharmaceutical chemist, you begin with 5.00g of the RS-HgC2H5 reagent. How much thiosalicylic qcid in grams is needed to ensure that no excess organic mercury is present at the end of the reaction
At 25 c the equilibrium constant for the reaction 2A(aq)-------- B(aq)+C(aq) is 2.07 .If the concentracion of B(aq) is 0.328 M and concentration of C(aq) is 0.473 M What would be the minimal concentration of A(aq) (in mol/l required the reacction spontaneous?
The standard enthalpies of formation, at 25.00 oC, of methanol (CH4O(l)), water (H2O(l)), and carbon dioxide (CO2(g)) are, respectively, -238.7 kJ/mol, -285.8 kJ/mol, and -393.5 kJ/mol. Calculate the change in the entropy of the surroundings (in J/K) upon the combustion of 12.4 g of methanol under a constant pressure of 1.000 atm and a temperature of 25.00 oC. N.B. combustion is the reaction of this substance with molecular oxygen to produce water and carbon dioxide.
I want to discover how I can use cows milk (C12H22O11) in jewellery using enamel (Ca10(PO4)2OH hot technique) to stabilise the milk so it can be used with the enamel without the milk splitting the two apart.
I have experimented with 39% vinegar to capture the casein in the milk but don't know how to approach this matter further.
Thanks,
