Answer to Question #69796 in General Chemistry for Genevieve M. Pondevida

Question #69796
I am a grade 12 student from trace college and I am currently making a thesis about a auto adjusting screen protector. My idea is to make a screen protector that become transparent when exposed to sunlight and become tinted when not. This function is actually the reverse of the function of a photochromic lens. Hence, i would like to ask if it is possible to reverse the function of a photochromic lens.

Photochromic lenses — lenses that are clear indoors and darken when exposed to sunlight.
Reverse reaction of photochromic lences (transparent on the sun and tinned indoor) by now is not known.
