Bingo decided to run a test to determine the compounds empirical formula. He found that when a 6.00g sample was burned in oxygen gas the only products were 13.2g of carbon dioxide and 7.2g of water. Find the empirical formula

Molar mass of H2O= 18.01

7.2/18.01= 0.4

Molar mass of CO2= 44.01

13.2/44.01=0.3

= CH2O3
