If dry hydrogen gas at atmospheric pressure is burnt completely in a furnace with 32 % excess air, calculate the Orsat analysis of the flue gas from this furnace.

Hydrogen can only burn if there’s enough oxygen. As in there is no HO, there can only be H2O. So whether there is excess or not of oxygen the hydrogen can only burn in the ratio of H2O.

The flue gases will consist of air and H2O vapour. Unless your question is not allowing water vapour as a gas. Then the flue gases will be ‘air’.
