The absorbance reading is 0.13. To a second 10 mL is added 1.00 mL of a 0.40 ppm standard cadmium solution, followed by dilution to and analysis for cadmium. The absorbance reading is 0.18. Calculate cadmium con the above hair sample in µg/mL.
0.4×50/0.13×10
= 6.67×0.18= 1.2µg/mL
