Peroxide reacts with water to produce oxygen. What would be the change in water temperature if we add 7800 grams of sodium peroxide to 110.00 ml of water? Reaction enthalpy = -285.0 kJ. Can you help me understand this problem?

We were given enthalpy

So we have to get our heat quantity first

H=-285000kJ

And ∆H=-Q

Q=285000J

Q=mc∆T

∆T=Q/mc

∆T=285000/(110×4.19)

∆T=618.4°C
