Using a mole-mole relationship we have;

If 1 mole of toluene react with 1 mole of acetone

Then 6.6 moles of toluene will react with x mole of acetone

x=6.6×1/1

x=6.6 moles

Since we also have 6.6 moles of acetone, that means acetone has been used up in the reaction.

Therefore, toluene is the reactant in excess.
