The “normal” pH scale is from 0-14. Calculate the pH for 4.0 M NaOH(aq), and comment on what is unusual about it.

PH=-log[H+]

PH of NaoH=-log[4]

= -0.602

There are two comments to pass because there are two abnormalities here

1)The first is that we have a PH that is less than one which is not something common.

2)The PH has negative value which is uncommon also.All these are results of the NaoH having a value greater than one.
