1 mole each of reactants produce 1 mole of CaCl2


m(CaCl2 ) = n (CaCl2 ) x M (CaCl2 )

m(CaCl2 ) = 1 mol * x 110.98 g/mol = 110.98 g - mass CaCl2 in theory


the percent yield = (mass in fact/mass in theory)x100% = 106 g / 110.98 g x 100% = 95.5%
