Describe the implications of inheritance of acquired characteristics for our modern concepts of how genes function?
In Lamarckism, traits developed during a person's lifetime can be conveyed to the next or in succeeding generations . For example, this can be seen in the supposed inheritance of a change brought about by the use and disuse of an organ. Base on the concept of inheriting acquired characteristics, the development of large muscles due to exercise or activity would yield children with large muscles.
