1. Birth control pills. Advantages: reduce the risk of ectopic pregnancies. Disadvantage: side effects (nausea, sore breasts, etc.).
2. Barriers (i.e., female and male condoms, etc.). Advantages: simple and protect sexual-diseases spreading. Disadvantages: possible allergies and urinary tract infections.
3. Long-term contraception (i.e., intrauterine device). Advantages: long term effect. Dosadvantages: do not protect from disease, irregular menstrual periods, etc.
4. Natural family planning (tracking of a menstrual cycle). Advantages: no need to take hormones and use any devices. Disadvantages: requires lifestyle changes, is the least effective.
