Purkyne fibres carry impulses to left and right ventricles from atrioventricular node, which is located on the bottom surface of the right atria and is responsible for initiating the contraction of the ventriculus. In this way purkyne tissue contribute to contraction of the ventricules in the same time at the cardiac cycle .
