The correct answer is (2) androgens. Leydig cells are secretory cells of testes which produce testosterone. It is a male sex hormone. Testosterone is the most abundant androgen in the male body. It stimulate the development of male secondary sex characteristics.
Other variants do not suit because glucagon is produced by pancrease, progesterone is produced by the ovarian follicle (ovary) and intestinal mucus is produced by glands present in mucosal surface of the intestine
