High blood pressure can have a genetic component. One possible genetic component of high blood pressure is a mutation in a single gene. If this gene is to be transferred to the offspring, should it be in a somatic cell or gametic cell?

It should be gametic cell, because genes can be transferred to offspring if reproduction occurs which is provided by gametic cells
