Is Drawin's theory of evolution and Darwin's theory of natural selection the same?

Charles Darwin developed the theory of evolution, not the theory of natural selection. Natural selection was suggested by him as a means of evolution, just the sequence of events which lead to changes in organisms. So, natural selection is just a tool for evolution according to his theory.
