Discuss whether you think it is a good use of science and will benefit mankind or whether you believe it is unethical and should no longer be pursued?

Since you didn't mention the subject matter, I'm afraid I won't be able to give a finite answer. As most inventions of science, they usually both a good side and a bad one. What determines if it's okay to continue using that invention would be if the good significantly outweighs the bad. If it doesn't, it would be deemed unfit for the use of man.
