Strawberry cells are octoploid(each cell contains eight sets of chromosomes),banana cells are triploid(each cell contains three sets of chromosomes). Which do you think will have more DNA- 10g of strawberry or 10g of banana I just cant figure it out

One answer logically would be the strawberries, since each cell contains more DNA. Bananas (Musa acuminata 'Cavendish') are triploid with 33 chromosomes/cell (the basic set is x = 11 chromosomes)
Strawberry (Fragaria ×ananassa) is octoploid with 56 chromosomes/cell (the basic set is x = 7 chromosomes). &

But what if the strawberry cells were much larger than the banana cells? Then there might be a lot fewer cells and, thus, possibly a lot less DNA. What if the banana had a lot lower water content than the strawberry?
Same thing--more cells in the banana than in the strawberry. Therefore banana could have more DNA because of large number of cells.
