The genetically modified organisms are considered to pose the risks of harmful influence on mankind and surrounding environment. What is exactly not proved is that how the GMO products are digested correctly in our organism and what impact they have on the human reproductive system, ability to have healthy children further. In terms of natural populations the genetically modified organisms are proved to be a potential risk for developing new organisms as a result of crossbreeding in addition to disbalance of trophic net, death of the adjacent species.
A broadcasting what GMO actually is and answering the questions publicly by the prominent scientists using simple words can help to avoid the misunderstanding by the non-scientist citizens in this field.
