1. If a stone was initially thrown downwards at 4 m/s, how much time will it take to reach the ground? At what velocity will it hit the ground? At what time will it reach a velocity of 12m/s? Where is the stone at v=6 m/s?
2. Resolve practice problem number 1, if the stone was thrown upwards instead. Use the same given values. How high will the stone reach?
