1. Production of a product has the following information. Cost per pound of its raw material are as follows: P1 = P16 P2 = P12 P3 = P10 P4 = P20 The following requirements must be satisfied: 1. A 4,000-pound mixture must be produced. 2. P1 must be at most 1,000 pounds. 3. P2 must equal 800 pounds. 4. P3 must not exceed 2,000 pounds 5. P4 cannot be more than 1,400 pounds. Find the optimum combination of raw materials and the minimum cost to produce the product. Use simplex linear programming.
