Expert's answer

Should parents be allowed to choose their child's school using public funds?(con)

Governmentally thinking, people who have a child, but have no money to choose a good school for him, should be able to use public funds to solve this problem. If parents use public funds to choose a good school for their child, that means they are using money that they didn't earned, using the money of other people who pay taxes, even if they have no children. So the people who earn enough money and have no problem educating their children, pay for those who have one. On the other hand, children whose parents can't pay for a good school, suffer from their parents. Our task is to define what is unfair – paying for the people who can't earn enough money or children who can't have good education because of their parents. In fact, the apple never falls far from tree. Today's pedagogic science claims that it's not the school that has the main impact on a child's personality, but its parents and their example. So it's a big chance of that a child who is educated with the help of public funds, when grown up, will use them to educate his child. It clearly has no sense. What's more, fining people for being successful in favor of the poor is absolutely unfair. To conclude, I think that parents mustn't be allowed to choose their child's school using public funds.
