a)Positive

• The main duty of media is to extend news, knowledge, and information
• It shares the information from one part of the world to another
• People came to know about their rights through the influence of the media.
• Media also helps the people to find out the ways to use their rights.
• Media acts as a link between government and people
• Because the different policies and undertakings of the government are forwarded through the medias
• Media also helps us to customize our personality
• Media is very vast and we get all the pieces of information in a single touch either in any electronic gadgets or newspapers.
• Media also helps in bringing the true facts of any news in front of us
• And without media, the world would have gone underrated without proper knowledge about anything

b)Negative

• The negative effects of mass media on society can lead people towards poverty, crime, nudity, violence, bad mental and physical health disorders and others as such severe outcomes. For example, mob hitting innocents by getting carried away from the rumors spread on the internet has been common. These unauthorized news headlines are the biggest example of the negative impact of mass media on society. Furthermore, the cases of children killing innocents by acquiring weapons are considered as one of the major negative effects of mass media on the children as they usually get carried away by provoking news stories, action movies, and games.

• One of the Demerit of Media is that it will elaborate everything in such a way that even the false accusation is believed.

• Social media nowadays steal a lot of time.

• And nobody tries to find out the truth since everything is discussed in media itself.
