It involves treating someone unfavorably because of his or her religious beliefs. Right to religion can be infringed in a foreign country in the following ways;

1.   Refusing to Hire, pay, promote, an employee because of a certain religion. Eliminating an applicant for hire because of names correlating with a particular religion, also declining observance of a religious holiday assuming it may cause undue hardships to a certain organization.

2.   Being harassed because of your religion by disrespectful remarks about a person’s denomination. It becomes illegal when it creates a threatening environment or when it comes to employment decisions like being fired or being demoted. This also can occur when another person tries to preach about their faith to convert a person.

3.   Being denied your way of clothing according to your religion, for example, wearing head coverings or religious attire, having certain hairstyles like Rastafarian dreadlocks among others, or being forced to wear clothing that is against your religion. Due to this, one gets denied access to enter some places or perform a certain task.
