According to the theory of symbolic interactionism young people love the life of freedom and they want to lead life is free from all types of hazards. Such a dream of lifestyle allures a large number of young people.

A soldier returns from the war front. But to him, the battlefield stands as the symbol of the fight for the country. It stands as the symbol of glory and bravery. Therefore he likes to return there.

Such a concept appears when the social agencies fail to fulfill their functions. According to the functionalism theory, the family system fails to attract young people as an important social agency. Therefore they want to lead like being free from the hazards of the family life.
