1.     Rape dehumanizes the victims.

2.     I would feel offended when someone very close to me raped. I would immediately report the case to a police station so that the victim could find justice.

3.     Rape culture is an environment whose prevailing social attitudes have the effect of trivializing or normalizing sexual abuse and assault. Yes, rape culture is already established in Bangladesh.

4.     It is caused by mental illness, idleness as well as drug abuse.

5.     As a member of the society I can prevent the crime by educating friends against it and reporting cases about it. The government can prevent it by formulating policies dealing with offenders.
